Women In Need
The services offered by CWJC of Granbury answer the prayers of many women who find themselves in distress. Some women may need to provide for their family without any means of support or the skills to improve their situation.
Who are the women that can be helped by CWJC?
-
Widows
-
Single mothers with children
-
Women with disabilities
-
Abused women
-
Women in poverty
-
Women recovering from substance abuse
This volunteer-run organization helps women to help themselves. Once a participant applies, meets all criteria and is accepted to the program, they will participate in 12 weeks of classes in life and job skills.
Upon graduation, participants are equipped to better find a job, empowered to be self-sufficient and responsible for their own future success. An alumni program encourages graduates to stay "connected" with the ministry and each other. It also allows them to hear about opportunities to "give back" to CWJC and the community.
Note: Women with needs that cannot be met by CWJC are referred to programs that can help them.
