Women in need —

They are widows, single mothers with children, women with disabilities, abused women, women in poverty and women recovering from substance abuse.

These are some of the women who may be helped by CWJC.

The services offered by CWJC of Granbury answer the prayers of many women who find themselves in distress — women who may need to provide for a family without any means of support and minus the skills to improve their situation.

This volunteer-run organization helps women to help themselves. Twelve weeks of classes in life and job skills are offered to women in need who are accepted into the program. Upon graduation, participants are equipped to better find a job, empowered to be self-sufficient and responsible for their own future success.

When these women realize they are better able to provide for themselves and their families, they experience a huge boost in self-esteem, which makes a powerful difference in their ability to make positive things happen in their lives.

Note: Women with needs that cannot be met by CWJC are referred to programs that can help them.
