From the Executive Director
2008—A Year to Celebrate
CWJC of Granbury is celebrating its 5th year in
existence. We have come a long way in our development
since opening our
doors January 6, 2003. We
are truly amazed at how
God has worked in developing
this ministry through
men and women like you.
February 4th was the beginning
of our 15th session,
February 22nd was our first
Volunteer Appreciation
Dinner to thank our volunteers
for their outstanding
work, and February 27th
participants, staff and volunteers
joined together to participate in the National
CWJC/CMJC Day of Prayer to sow seeds of
blessings for not only Granbury’s site, but CWJC/CMJC sites across the nation.
Seeds of Prayer
This year’s theme for the National CWJC Day of
Prayer is Seeds of Prayer, so appropriate as it reminds
us of the importance of prayer as CWJC/CMJC’s foundation. Galatians 6:7, “a man reaps
what he sows,” reminds us that prayer not only
blesses the one we pray for, but blesses us as we
pray.
Current Session Update
We are especially thankful for our participants
whose lives have been changed because of your
financial donations and the volunteering of your
time in helping them go from dependency to self sufficiency.
Our current session participants are making great progress-
educationally, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Please continue to sow seeds of blessing into the
lives of these participants as they try to overcome the
difficult challenges in their lives.
We welcome your prayers for our ministry and the
women whose lives are being transformed as “God
begins a good work in them.”
Thank you for sharing our vision.
You have truly
blessed us by your involvement and support. May the
seeds you sow in this ministry be the abundant harvest
you reap in your life.
